The Great Gatsby Chapter 8 Reading Notes

Nick told Gatsby he needs to leave before they find out it was his car that killed Myrtle. Gatsby ends up telling Nick more of his story with Daisy pre-Tom. George Wilson is continuing to find out who hit Myrtle with a yellow car. He remembers her coming home with a broken nose before and he thinks it is her mistress. Nick went to check on Gatsby and found him lying in a pool of blood in the swimming pool and off in the grass he found George Wilson.
