The Great Gatsby Chapter 7 Reading Notes

One night Gatsby wasn't having a party so Nick went over to see if he wasn't feeling well. In turn Gatsby hired all new servents and wanted everything low key, so that Dasiy could come over in the afternoons without the help gossiping. Gatsby, Nick, Tom, Jordan and Dasiy all go to a hotel into town because the weather was far to hot to stay at home. Taking separate cars, Tom stopped at Myrtle's husband's gas station where Myrtle took Jordan to be Tom's wife. Myrtle was insanely jealous. Gatsby told Tom that Daisy and him love each other and she never loved Tom. Tom argued that Gatsby and Daisy will never have what they have. Gatsby and Daisy left for home while Daisy was driving. There was a car accident and Nick found out that Daisy accidentely hit Myrtle on the way home but didn't stop.
