The Great Gatsby Chapter 6 Reading Notes

Mr. Gatsby's real name is JamesGatz. He is a self-made man meaning he wasn't tied to his parents. Many people said he pretty much live on his boat and pouched and fished. Dan Cody was a friend of his who always liked to drink. Gatsby locked him up one day so he wouldn't be able to drink. When Cody died, Gatsby didn't inherit 25,000 dollars from him, instead a girl did. Gatsby threw a party and Tom and Daisy came. Daisy danced with Gatsby but was not having fun the whole night because Tom was there. Gatsby at the end of the story told Nick about the night when he kissed Daisy and fell in love.
