The Great Gatsby Chapter 4 Reading Notes

Nick names all the people who attend Mr. Gatsby's parties regularly in a long list that you quickly forget. Miss. Baker tells Nick a story of one Jay Gatsby who took Daisy out for a date and was in love with her. She explains how Mr. Gatsby is being Nick's friend in order to get close to Daisy again. Gatsby wants to have Daisy see his house and fall in love with him. So Nick is deciding to invite both Daisy and Gatsby over for tea. At the end of the night, Nick kisses Miss. Baker.
